Climate change refers to the long term alterations in temperature, precipitation, wind patterns and other elements of the Earth's  limate system.  Here are some key points:

1.  CAUSES:  Primarily driven by human activities, includng burning fossil fuels, deforestation and industrial process.  These actions increase the greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere.

2.  EFFECTS:  It leads to global warming, rising sea levels, more extreme weather events (hurricane, droughts, floods) and shifts in wildlife populations and habitats.

3.  INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS:  The Paris Agreement is a significant global treaty aiming to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celcious, with efforts to cap it at 1.5 degrees

4.  RENEWABLE ENERGY:  Transitioning to renewable sources like solar, wind and hydroelectric power is crucial in reducing carbon footprints andcombating climate change.

5.  CLIMATE ACTIVISM:  Young activists like Greta Thunberg have sparked global movements calling for immediate action to address climate change.

6.  ADAPTATION AND MITIGATION:  Strategies include developing climate-resilent infrastructures, promoting sustainable agriculture andprotecting ecosystems to adapt to changes and mitigate further impacts.

Climate Change is pressing global issue that requires collective action from Governments, Businesses and Individuals.

Urgent action and Collaboration at all levels is essential to mitigate its effects and safeguard our planet for future generations.
